Intellectual Property and Brand Protection

• Protection of name, image and likeness (right of publicity)

• Preparing, filing and prosecuting copyright applications before the United States Copyright Office

• Intellectual Property enforcement, including litigation

• Counseling companies regarding due diligence, registration, exploitation and protection of trademarks, service marks, patents, rights of publicity and other similar assets

• Provide counsel and advice on intellectual property matters for clients including copyright, trademark and trade secret.

• Ensure copyright and trademark protections and registrations and counsel clients in the licensing and exploitation of their copyrighted materials and trademarks

• Advise clients and resolve ownership of rights, chain of title and clearance issues, including the review, negotiation and drafting of certificates of employment and work-for-hire agreements

• Prepare confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements for individual privacy rights and company trade secrets

• Draft cease and desist letters and takedown notices to enforce clients’ intellectual property rights

• Assisting clients in regaining copyrights by exercising termination provisions and the renewal term provision of The Copyright Act.
